Make Your Own Favours
You can save an awful lot of money by making your own simple favours.
Penny sweets, packets of seeds, cookies... right through to Whisky miniatures you can pick up from the supermarket.
If you really don't fancy tackling this yourself - you want them to look gorgeous and you don't think yourself particularly creative - then see if you can pay someone just for their time on arranging the favours if you can supply the items/contents yourself, to avoid any mark up on the prices/their time ordering etc. Ofcourse it's possible that a professional can buy stock wholesale, and so cheaper than you can get it anyway - but this is something you can discuss with them.
