How to plan a Wedding
If you've just got engaged, congratulations! But if once the champagne bubbles had stopped fizzing you felt overwhelmed by the feat ahead of you, then relax! Planning a wedding is only as big a job as you make it!
Firstly, discuss with your fiance what kind of wedding you both want. Church? Ceremony in a hotel? Ceremony on a beach in cyprus?
Also consider what kind of theme you want, incase this effects any of the other arrangements. This can be broad (contemporary, traditional, casual) or it can be quite specific (James Bond, Middle ages). The theme can be limited just to the reception, or it can spread into the ceremony too. Some use a theme just for their table names - such as calling each table the name of Disney film.
You also need to decide what time of year you want to get married, and if that time of year is at a peak season (summer or Christmas) you need to book it asap!
Then once you'e got those points covered, it's just a matter of making a list of what you want/what you need to do, and ticking it off as you go! Which you can do with the help of our Wedding Planning Checklist (follow the link below).
